Computer Classes Being Offered

The re-entry computer class will run for about  3 months  and is scheduled to start on December 3, 2012. We are looking to fill the class before the scheduled start date but we will take  new participant information until  the class is filled.  This class  will focus on working with people who are court involved/or have an immediate family member who is court involved. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will hold a series of statewide discussions this fall to engage the public in a conversation about the transportation system they want and what we need to do to achieve that vision. The purpose of these meetings is to hear from customers and residents in order to generate ideas and help prioritize agency initiatives now and in the future.

District D-3 Advisory Crime Meeting

Boston Home Center University Presents: Free Classes and Mortgage Lender Fair

Boston Home Center University is offering free morning classes and a mortgage lender fair to teach people in our community about buying or owning a home. It is definitely a great opportunity to educate yourself about home finances so take advantage on Saturday October 20,2012 from 9:00AM-12:00PM.

Garrett Pressley Autism Resource Center's Road Race!

Garrett Pressley Autism Resource Center is holding their 7th annual Road Race on Saturday October 6, 2012. It will be taking place at Pop John Paul II in Dorchester, MA behind the Walgreens and Staples Mall in Neponset Circle. Registration for this event will begin at 9:30. Runners and walkers participating will be expected to start at 10:00am. This will be a great opportunity to meet some of the people in the community as well taking part in free food, games, and races. All proceeds go to supporting services for children and young adults with autism. Hope to see you all there!
