We are looking to get feedback from Latino and Black Men ages 15-45 on sexual health to begin our #BOSSUPprogram.

It is important that men in their own right have access to prevention education geared towards them.

Results from the focused discussion will help to inform the start of our BOSS UP Program.

Please consider participating in a focus group If you are a male ages​ 15-45 and please share through your networks.

A $25 Target gift card will be provided for completing the focus group and food will be served.

SummerWorks Kickoff!

ABCD Youth Services is gearing up for SummerWorks!

We will be holding a kickoff event at the Reggie Lewis Center on June 8th from 1-4. Youth will be able to find the status of their application, apply for SummerWorks and interact with potential worksites. Please find the flyer attached and give to youth/parents who might be interested.

If any of your staff will be able to help on the event, please let me know in advance. Any staff volunteers will be there from 12-5. We expect most youth to be there after 2 as that is when the Madison /O’Briant school day ends.

Food Service Job Training Program
The Teaching Kitchen

What you need:

Age: 18+
Fluent in English
Currently unemployed or facing barriers to employment 
Commitment to 12 weeks of training in kitchen and classroom settings
Commitment to working at least 20hrs/wk after graduation

What you get:

Kitchen and classroom training by Chef Instructor
Preparation for the ServSafe Exam
Career and life-skills training
Experience working in a professional kitchen
Job placement assistance
Feeding the critically ill
