Mattapan United Youth Council in Action!

For the past 6 weeks, Mattapan United's Youth Council has been participating in the Growing Ubuntu: The Youth Speak Arts Program with students from Wheelock College at the Mattahunt-Wheelock Community Center.  On Tuesday, April 16, the youth presented their work at a showcase of youth art from around Boston at Wheelock College's Towne Art Gallery.  The youth meditated on what Ubuntu means to them and made stepping stones with those words stenciled onto them.  Stay tuned for more of the great work the MU Youth Council is doing.
